Jackson Returns to the Hobbit.

Peter Jackson, director of New Line's wildly successful Lord of the Rings trilogy, is officially returning to J.R.R. Tolkien's fantasy realm as producer of a two-film adaptation of The Hobbit.

Not sure if any of you guys care, but I loved the LotR's.

Thank god. I loved the hobbit by far the most and hope they get a GREAT actor to play bilbo. I love his character ,and can't wait for the War of the Races at the end (correct me on the name, the ***SPOILER ALERT***one between dwarves, goblins and wargs at the end of the book) But yeh, I can't wait for this

Meh, don't expect too much on the war of the 5 races at the end. Remember, Bilbo got knocked out near the beginning with the ring on, and misses almost all of it.

Unless the story isn't told from Bilbo's perspective in the movie. It is in the book.

This movie was announced last year, except Jackson had some arguements with new line cinemas and some other dude he didn't want to work with. They just settle the bar.
