    Default I'm not sure...

    Well, I have I question and I'm nto sure if this is the right place to post it becase I couldn't find anywehre else to...

    If I download Directx9 or something like that would it make my downloads faster?

    If not what does it do?

    No; DirectX is a collection of Microsoft applications that handle multimedia taks (such as games, videos, and music). Read more about DirectX here.
