Well I know ONRPG has had their fair share of this but was just posting to ask what you guys thought of this upgrade I made and another question regarding shipping.
Ok my current pc specs( relevant to upgrade) Are:
6150 Integrated 128mb video card
1 gig of ram (technically 956mb, the other is devoted to video processing I believe)
And I am upgrading to :
2 gigs of ram (DDR) and they're the same type for the dual channel or w/e
and a GeForce 7900GS 256mb video card
And my question regarding shipping is this : If I place a next day shipping option tonight at 10pm or something (after the 5pm deadline)and this is the Friday before Christmas break (Monday and Tuesday) through newegg, will it be processed and/or delivered before Thursday? I'm not sure if Newegg processes orders on weekend, or even on Christmas day or Christmas even, so then that would push the date to Wednesday, where it would be next day UPS to deliver it on Thursday... or would NewEgg process over this Saturday / Sunday and would UPS deliver Christmas eve and or Christmas? That would put the arrival date at Monday or Wednesday (doubt Christmas but there are the super cool UPS men who don't have a family but care enough about others to use this day for those last second deliveries )
Sorry for the longwinded question, but was unsure of how I could keep it detailed enough but not taking 30 seconds to read and bursting several eye bloodvessals while attempting to read the brick wall of text. Thanks if you do read it and/or respond.
Alright well I'll keep an eye out for Fabiann and ask him on what he thinks, but the bottom question isn't so much of "computer stuff" as it is "shipping/UPS knowledge"....
From what I understand of shipping and business days, yeah, it should arrive on Monday. But yeah, Fabiann has much more descriptive and accurate responses.
Awesome, now if only the order would get sent in (waiting on parent to do it as they hold the credit cards with my money on it)
Tomorrow is Saturday so you're saying the website will process the order even on weekends? If so.. sweet. And then the order will be ready by monday, next day delivery would be Monday since Sunday is off, so if it does get here monday, uuber sweet. Then Wednesday after christmas I'm going to town and picking up a game or something for my computer to be test driven on (i'll probably try out oblivion with cranked up settings, but I'd like something new ^.^)
