Thread: My 'digital MP4 Player' doesnt support MP4 <.0

    Default My 'digital MP4 Player' doesnt support MP4 <.0

    Today I got a 1GB MP4 player (for free, kinda, I put on braces in the summer, for a year +-, and part of the deal was that I get an MP4 player... of course my parents paid for the braces so I got an MP4 'for free' )

    So I got it and it says Fujicom MP4 Player, on the device itself also:

    NOTE: The dirt is from the scanner, not the MP4 lol.

    My camera went dead on me today... something with the mem card.





    and then in the MANUAL it says:

    "This player ONLY plays AMV files, it
    does not support MP4 files."

    WTF lol.. sure I can watch movies with it... on AMV.. but its not as good <.<

    MP4 doesn't technically mean it can play copyright protected .AAC files, most devices can't. It means that it supports video and photos most of the time.

    Yeah, false advertising.

    1 - AMV? *Googles* Ah! I see. Thought It stood for Anime Music Video(s).

    2 - I'm pretty sure, if you look down the right alley of the Internets, that you can find some firmwire software for the thing to play MP4's or get a video format converter.

    Lol those are kinda popular for people with no Ipods...

    Shit.. This aint nothign like the Ipod touch knockoff i got from my secret santa.. it has 2gb and no Internet.. But it does have radio...

    Only 1 gb.. maybe 5 episodes of a series or like 1/4 movie pretty useless.

    Well, there are A LOT of these over here, I don't know if you can call em knock-offs because they are just MP4/MP3 players, they don't have anything relating to apple except for the front design :P

    but except for that, its pretty good, plays my 320bkps songs, no problems, even video is not bad (quality wise), im pretty happy.

    btw my parents didn't waste money on it,
    I got braces, THEN (we didnt even know), they told us that as a part of the whole braces thing I get an MP4.. so what the heck ;P

    actually because its small, (the resolution and FPS)... I can fit 13 episodes (or 6, 90-minute movies).
