Drug Addicts: they are ADDICTED, they cannot stop easily, if you do not know what withdrawal is then get the hell off the forums and learn more about health and the world around you. Plus most drug addicts do not see it as bad.
Terrorist, SAME THING, they don't see what they are doing as bad.
Murder, it cannot be stopped, as long as there is hate, we will have murder. It is for anything from gains (money, or advances) to jealousy or something else.
I cannot try and explain this to someone who cannot understand this I am sorry. But think of it this way, it is all there because of the way we are brought up. At the same time some of it is psychological and cannot be changed. War will always be with us, it has been w/ us since the dawn of civil man.

Racism was a generally created trait through out history which was gained from previous events in our life and how we are brought up. IE when you are younger and your father is killed by Hispanics, you will generally have a small amount of hatred for Hispanics even if you are not racist.
Rapists, generally they have a mental disorder. If they feel no regret then it is definitely a mental disorder because part of human emotion is regret even when killing (most).
Drug addicts, many people get into this when they are young thinking its cool, and then doing it to say with friends. I have a great friend (two actually) who did drugs for 2+ years going farther then meth (Neither touched Heroine) they both did it because of the groups the hung with. Eventually they just liked doing it because they were addicted.
What you said for the next type is just steriotyping, we all choose to look a certain way and someone who looks different is unusual to us and people deal with it different ways. Some people choose to ignore it, while others embrace it and then we have those who look "down" on it. It is just part of how people cope with their surroundings.
War, it is usually about two different things, belief or land/money.
Terrorists, they are generally very smart people, (talking doctors) they just have a heavy belief in their side of a war or belief that they are willing to die for it. They are extremists and it's as simple as that. While they are viewed as evil that is only because we do not share the same beliefs as them. To people on the other side of the world, the US is considered the terrorists remember that.

The reason there is evil in the world? No, it's not human nature. No, the human mind is not simply "****ed." The reason evil exists is because of ideas and emotions. Most people do not have complete control over their emotions, and thus they let those emotions create ideas, usually bad ones like racism, and eventually it grows to be something evil. Everything, war, murder, ****, unless the person has a mental disorder, is caused ultimately by bad ideas.
What can we do? Make sure we use reason, control our emotions, and make sure we live by the right ideas, and try to encourage others to live by those right ideas (Proven right by reason). Thats all. We can't force good on the earth, "the ends justifies the means" is just an excuse, and perhaps the most evil idea of all.
