Pi Story CB3 ~ Jan. 28th - Dec. 3!

After further delay, Pi Story's server will be re-opening for the 3rd round of Closed Beta testing. We have made many needed changes that improve game play as well as new exciting features that bring uniqueness of Pi Story alive!


As a result of these changes and updates, total server times have been shortened from previous betas to 7 hours a day. However the test period is still the same as before leaving the server open for 7 days (1 week).


Also, service times are now posted in Pacific Standard Time (PST) NOT in GMT (Greenwich Median Time). For easier reference, the website (www.pistory.com) will also reflect GMT and EST located on our main page. All posts and replies in our forum, uploads and other activity on our website will also be postmarked in PST format.


Pi Story Official Service Dates & Times are as follows:


Pacific Standard Time (PST):
Dates: December 28, 2007 (Friday) - January 3, 2008 (Thursday)
Server is open from 4pm - 11pm


Eastern Standard Time (EST):
Dates: December 28, 2007 (Friday) - January 4, 2008 (Thursday)
Server is open from 7pm - 2am

* Please note the server will close at 2am on the following day. *


Greenwich Mean Time (GMT):
Dates: December 29, 2007 (Saturday) - January 4, 2008 (Friday)
Server is open from 12 midnight - 7am

Yay this game is so amazing I hope they fixed lag issues! I hear they are going to add a new class as well isn't it so exciting! I hope I get my new computer by then!

EDIT: I changed the CB ending years but on their site it still says "January 2007" lol

they are adding mage

CB4 they will add thief which is supposed to be out in february for valentines day

CB1 - Holloween
CB2 - Thanksgiving
CB3 - Christmas
CB4 - ??? (Valentines Day)

all the others were in holoday seasons so i can predict CB4 wil be same

They need 4 CBs because the game is still under development. It's not a CB in the traditional sense of testing for bugs or server strain. It's testing to see what people want as new content/features.

Oh and WOOOOOT. I really hope they moved servers from Korea to US. The lag made everything so unbearable.

Anywho, if you were in a past CB, do you think you'll automatically be in this one?

Supposedly the housing system and a few other things are to be added which should be cool. Shey need to add an effing buddy list and fix the bugs that have been in the last two CBs though.

Haha, I love CBs where the GMs are totally into it and talk/party with the players. I hope they'll be there again.

Also, I wonder what people who were in previous CBs will get? x)

Especially considering some of the questions he got asked over and over again, and the brown nosers constantly shmoozing around. xD I actually felt kind of bad for him, and thanked him heartily for the work.

the gm's were great

in first cb we had a 30+ group

me, gizmo, lintul, and finute

both gm cloud and gm daddy joined us to take on 2-1

hard without any clerics and we won

as i stated before if u were in cb 1 and got past lvl 15 u were auto in cb2

i am assuming if u got 15 in cb2 then u auto in cb3

They're pretty easy to get into, considering they're CBs. I think you basically have to be signed up with GamenGame. xD

I didn't get to level 15 CB2 but I got the message for CB3. I wasn't even in CB1 but I got into CB2. It's not that hard, I don't think. Not very exclusive. Just sign on up.

I'll try it again. When I first tried it I hated how slow it felt but loved the magic casting system.

But mentioning pie after Christmas makes me want to puke x.x
