If it weren't for pirating, I wouldn't have ever found out about half the music on my computer right now. Underground European bands' albums are almost impossible to get in North America, especially metal.

I figure that games are way too much of a pin in the ass to download, because of having to deal with cracks and all that nonsense, but that's just me.

However, that does seem to be the direction the RIAA is headed. Pretty soon, you won't be able to come on Onrpg because the RIAA will "Shut this site down due to the links to free games". It'll be illegal to send a YouTube video to a friend.
