Really depends where you're going with the Thesis statement, because it sets the mood for entire research paper.
While writing a good thesis statement you have to make sure you follow suit with the basic points:
* Must not contradict the body and research of the paper
* Show your Research topics
* Start off by showing where you're going.

For example, say you're general topic is Careers, and under careers you make 3 topics of research, for the sake of examples, lets use modern careers (technoligical), medical careers, entrepeneurs.

So once you've chosen your sub topics, you should begin to form a research map for where the information body is located, for now it would go:

Careers > Medical > Technological > Entrepeneurs > Ending Sentence

Now you write your thesis according to your information, so with the little that I know, mine would look something like this

The main contenders in the world of Careers these days are rapidly growing in every direction, asthe advent of technology approaches, many fields such as Medical, Engineers (software/hardware, and the world of business have been rapidly expanding, branching out to new Career opportunities and benefits.

Obviously this is a pretty basic Thesis statement where you would have to elaborate on each sector and what opportunities and benefits each bring, the same as how each has expanded.

Organize your info and you're ready to go.
