I'm not in a gang but I got relatives that are in a gang.Even my mom was in a gang,and so was my cousin.They aren't anymore but I still got cousins that are "Cuz" if you know what cuz means and not the slang version of cousin.And some that are in VL.Virtually my old high school was crawling with gangs supposedly,but just some kids imitating big hip-hop group names like "G-unit" "Dipset" "Purple City bird gang"

Not so much a gang as a "crew". Theres a big difference, you know? We don't have "turf" or sell drugs and shit...but, we are there to protect eachother. We like the whole "die for your brother" part of a gang, but I don't like the crime aspect. I don't think stealing is right (unless its from some idiot corporation, like Walmart), we would never steal shit from PEOPLE, we'd never gang up on one person just because we don't like him...we don't lend money to people...we don't have people sell stuff for us...etc.
We are all just a bunch of REALLY close friends...who are lacking some of the home essentials (a stable family, a home, family income, decent parents)...all of those things. We watch out for eachother, because nobody else is watching out for us...ya know? As for the fighting part...we don't fight that much. If one of our friends is going to get in a fight...we are there for him, but we don't make the fights an un-fair gang beatdown. I'm not gonna let my buddy get killed by 3 other guys, but 1 on 1 is fair. We just watch out for eachother, and do whatever it takes to help eachother out. Its a tight group, of only about 10...at the max.
So, if that qualifies as a "gang", yeah. I guess I'm in one.

Since I live in the far south area of Louisiana, of course there are gangs, some of my friends are in gangs, I have a friend who's a gang leader, My ne door neighbor are gangsters. But I never joined them, I hang out wihtt hem though
