Default Question about custom firmware on a PSP.

Ok, so my PSP currently runs 3.80, and I wanted to install a custom 3.80m33.

Would there be anyway in hell for me to do this?

I googled this, and I found no help.

Try using Pandora battery and Magic memory stick to downgrade your PSP to 3.51, and then upgrade it to 3.80 m33.

If you do use it, You may end up having a bricked PSP.

Other than that, my PSP is 3.80 too, I was stupid enough to update it. Its all your fault jakuza.

Yeah, PB and MS would help, but be careful not to brick your PSP.

    Good luck.

    o_o
Using a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick ALWAYS downgrades to 1.50,from there, you go to 3.52 M33,to 3.52 M33-4
    Then to 3.71 M33,then 3.71 M33-4
And then if you want to play Homebrew games, you install the 1.50 Kernel version 2 (It has Multi disc PSX game eboot support!!)
    And yeah,that's pretty much it.
EDIT:Also,BlueChristmas,Pandora Battery and Magic Memorystick UNBRICK your PSP..

FYI Jak, for a lot of new games you will not be able to play them unless you update your version which will then make ur firmware unusable. So be aware of that.

That firmware seems to have normal updates.

Yet if it did,you could simply take out and re-insert the Magic Memory stick and Battery..

With pandora's battery its impossible to brick your PSP....

A PSP bricks when there is a problem with the installed firmware and your psp can't load it. Pandora's battery loads a recovery menu before the PSP tries to launched any installed software. So Pandora's battery can fix a bricked PSP.

Any psp FAT battery can be turned into a Pandora's battery and back again which is really cool.

They are the people who discovered Pandora's battery and continue to make sure that people know that you DONT have to pay for it.

    Here are the specifics...

    Good luck
