AoC- Nothing special?
i was looking at some AoC videos wheni found out that rangers have to aim, which means it isnt real time combat system ala DDO... You have to target to attack, and not click to attack like DDO and Oblivion...
Well, that was my impression as i saw these videos... im a bit in doubt about warrior, but rangers looks most definately like they have to target...
Take a look... This is not to insult the game, but as i see it, its like any other mmorpg, but i might be wrong... its just a video...

Lol Bryan... its the right opposite with me... i was prepared to play some fast paced action mmorpg with aim and manual shooting/swinging... but this video confuses me... :S

Its the same type of system as DDO wasd movement space to jump etc and to swing you wep you mouse click to block with a shield you hold a key down. It was a question that kept coming up and was answered on their forums somewhere awhile ago.

it trys to give you the feeling like your playing a action game but its really just like the other mmos(or atleast the combat is) its like your still auto fighting but it makes it seem/look like your not and you cant manuely block its auto like crits/misses are.

If thats true i might aswell go with Aion, atleast it has better gfx and fast paced fighting.... Or dakfall as well...
