My sincere apologize if i placed this thread in the wrong section. Honestly, i have no idea where this game genre belongs.

Gameplay of AudioSurf, a forthcoming music/rhythm/puzzle game that lets you generate levels based on CDs and MP3s on your computer. There are many different kinds of spacecrafts to choose from, all of which come with their own respective styles of play.

- Different difficultie settings per song : Eazy, Hard , Expert
- Eazy setting : 3 Different eazy sub-gametype
- Hard setting : 5 Different hard sub-gametype
- Expert setting : 3 Different expert sub-gametype
- Movement of spaceship via Arrow Keys [Keyboard] or/and Mouse

You can already play an offline version, but you have to use something that kinda works like a launcher. It's what I use and I can play all I want.

Just run it before you run audiosurf, it'll work.


Can't run it? Make sure you have the .NET framework. Don't know what that is? You definitely need it. Download it from here:

Running but not working? Make sure these lines are in your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 204.13.11.27
127.0.0.1 audio-surf.com
127.0.0.1 www.audio-surf.com
Your hosts file is located in C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. Open it with notepad.
Check the updater.ini file in your Audiosurf folder. Make sure the app version is either 1 or 2. If it's 3, set it to 2 and delete patchfile.zip from the Audiosurf folder.
Don't try to create a username. Just enter anything in the username and password boxes to log in.

If you still cant make it run in offline mode, reinstall the whole client(V.1.11.08) and follow the steps in this qoute.

*The above qoute is not for online purposes. Due to the recent end of closed beta 2, this 'patch' would enable uses to play Offline mode only

Yeah i am... its hell lots of fun and addicting... try with some TRANCE if you want some challenge... not some opera or heartbreaker songs, they are too easy... TRANCE OR HEAVY METAL that will do the work... **** MMOS!!

Its kinda like guitar heroes, just without buttons... you need to hit the blocks: the red ones and yellow ones give most, the blue ones and one other color give less... And then there are a lot of random things... You just need your mouse to hit them ala turn right and left... FUNNY AS HELL IF YOU GOT THE RIGHT MUSIC!!!

gotta 'register' your username for online purposes. Basicly, at the login page at the game, just input your prefered usename and password. It will automaticly create an account from there.
