Default I got my computer infested with the Peekvid virus

When you go to www.peekvid.com it said that you have to download the peekvid.exe.

Well I was gullible and downloaded it. Now it got a virus in on my computer by my Avast Anti-virus caught it and I deleted it. Should I be worry about anything?

You might want to install a better antivirus software like kaspersky, nod32, or something like that, then run a scan.

if you go to a site, and there comes a pop up with asking you to download that file, DONT DO IT its most likely a trojan

also watch out as some just start downloading without asking and youll never know till you scan your pc

be happy your antivirus detected it

Honestly if you go through Veoh.com, Stage6.com, Youtube.com, anime6.net, animecrunch.com, crunchyroll.com and google what can't you find? There are also tons of sites that let you download anime and manga like bleachexile.com I know it's a small list compared to some of you search freaks. I'm just trying to say there's no reason to ever take a risk like that.

What kind of virus did Avast detect it as? There isn't much we can do if we don't know what kind of virus it was...

And I sure as hell wont download that program to help you out.
