Reputation: 26Here's what I do. Download a vid grabber, search around on google, download the video then use Super to convert it to mp3 format or whatever format you want. I've never tried to split or take out parts of an audio clip though im sure there are programs to do it. It takes me like 5 mins total to download a vid and convert it.
its just a pain having to rip the entire movie audio then find the bit you need

Reputation: 34Not really. It's pretty standard opinion that youtube quality is less than stellar. I don't really care enough to see if there are any exceptions.
Edit: and besides... then I would need to rip the same clip from a dvd with ac3 or something and compare the two. I don't have the time to do that.
Reputation: 26Since when did he ask for outstanding audio feed with 5.1 surround sound compatibility? Sorry, I must have missed that part >_>
It's easy to find smooth, less than extreme quality but greater than low quality sound clips off of youtube. What is he looking to use it for? It's not like he's making a movie that needs spectacular sound effects.
Reputation: 34Please re-read the entire thread. You will notice that in several posts concerns about the quality are raised. He does not want crap, and since he did not specify exactly how good of quality he wanted, it would be better to provide the highest quality to start with, which can then be altered to fit his situation than it would be to start with crap where he has no where to go with.
*sigh*
