Duel guns coming to Holic Online

The new hunter class will be the sixth available class in the game after Warrior, Mage, Monk, Bandit and Priest. Hunters are known for their agility and their specialty is long range attacks. They use bows and duel guns as their primary weapons. Also, hunters have the many buff abilities such as to increase teammates' attack speed. No doubt hunters are going to be a perfect multipurpose character on your team!

Anarchy Online Receives Facelift

During the visit, Funcom provided us with a video that shows off a major graphics engine overhaul for Anarchy Online -- bringing the game's graphics up to today's standards, introducing many new lighting and shader effects, and of course making it compatible with DirectX 9.

Mabinogi CB keys update
Curse will have the key distribution system up on Feb 1st, all you need is a curse account. Unfortunately you can only get a key if you are from North America. Note: There will be only limited 5000 beta keys from Curse, so grab one before they are gone. =)

In addition, curse has many other new giveaways and events coming up February.

We will be happy to make those events and giveaways for you guys! and you can also email me to apply for "volunteer to paid staff" on curse. Yes, quite a lot and more being developed in future; a detailed list will follow together wit the official closed beta start tomorrow.

Imo, the facelift AO got is not going to help them much, the game mechanics are broken. The graphics meeting todays standards? Not quite from what I've seen. It would need to be DX10 if it wanted to meet todays standards. Dx9 is old news.

DX10 isnt standard...DX10 is still something special and i dont think that will change in the next few months :S
So DX9 is still standard...because "standard" doesnt mean "as new as possible"...

Wait a second...if only 5000 people are going to be accepted into Mabinogi closed beta, how come Curse gets 5000 beta keys?
