    Default Barack Obama

Okay, no offense if you are black, but it seems many many black people in the US are voting for Obama simply because he is black. Now, I think that is unfair, and raciest. But people who don't really get the time to actually take intrest in each president (Not saying all black people do/don't) vote for him simply because he is black? Now, black people sufferd a lot of racism, and isn't it racism to vote for somebody based on their skin? Eh, just my thoughts.

P.S; Yeah, I know I spelled his name wrong.

Um, don't you think TONS of white people are voting for white people, simply because they're white?

The minority/ghetto/black community doesn't look at the their political stance in the election, they simply see whether the candidate will help us, from here. The M/G/B community liked Bill Clinton. No racism there. :P

Hilery is a crazy ***** that sucks corporate dick, and Obama, while I like his general policies, is a *****. Another Kerry, if you will. He talks the talk, but he doesn't walk the walk. He'll just lay there and take it while everyone else just runs on over him and doesn't give a shit.

Things won't change if he's in.

I'm in full agreement, FabianN, and not just because of my conservative stance. I personally don't like many of the Republican candidates. I sort of like Huckabee, but that's about it, and unfortunately I don't see him getting the nomination.

Let's put them all in an IQ test, then the 2 with the highest scores win.

Then we put them 2 in a pit and make them fight to the death, and there you have it, you're president will be strong and smart.

    Let's try it.

Alot of white people like Barack Obama too. If I was American, I'd vote for him, because although he's not the best candidate out there, he's the best candidate with any chance of winning anything.

Hilary is a mean ***** and no one cares about Edwards anyway. The only Republican candidate I kind of like is John McCain, and he's unlikely to win the Republican nomination, because he's a moderate.

black people vote for him because hes black, white people dont vote for him because hes black.

in any case both those types of people are ******s for voting on a cadidate based on their appearance rather than their policies or beliefs.

If people were only voting based on the race of the candidate, wouldn't Jesse Jackson have been president a long time ago? I think you people need to give Obama more credit. I may not agree with all his policies, but at least he's going to do more good for the country than Hilary or any of the Republicans will.

That is like saying the same thing as many women are voting for Hillary. Also, not all his votes are from African-Americans. He did win New Hampshire as well.

i do understand the black people though... i mean why should they vote for a white man? first time in history they can choose between a black guy and a women... all the other white presidents havent done much for the black people ( newer time), and for the first time they can choose a black guy who demands ''changes''... so yeah, vote obama...

Actually, no he didn't. He won Iowa (which is also a very white state I believe). The only reason he didn't win New Hampshire too is because Hilary started bawling in some cafe and got sympathy from the voters for it. As it is, he came really close, something that was largely ignored by people talking about it.

Oops my bad lol, for some reason I thought it was NH. But now I remember NH was the second primary right?

The population of women to men is about half in USA so if it was half, wouldn't it be easy for Hillary to win? There may be a small correlation to African Americans voting for Barack but there is still places that Barack may win despite the state being predominately white.

In NH, Balackman won the majority of the women's vote so no. The men's vote may be split between another candidate but your forgetting that Balakman has Oprah on his side. I'd say a good 40% of women of voting age watch Oprah. So yeah, the women's vote is also split, but Balakman has a split of two votes making him a majority on both ends. It looks to be a very sucessful strategy.

I refuse to vote this year. Both republicans/democrats are whack. Both pander, both lie, both deceive, both care only about their own agenda. Why can't this world be more simple?

I take it you won't be voting ever. That's what elections are all about.

Mr Noodles, I coined Balakman Obama.

Anyways this reminds me of the time when I ran for president. You see last semester I was taking Civics and Economics and we had a quarter project where the class was split into parties (Democrat and Republican) by the choice of the teacher and each party would nominate a presidential candidate and run a sufficient campaign showing it to the US History class which was next year and they would elect the president. Well I was in the Republican party and I won the nomination. The Democrat Party had a white girl (no offense) win the nomination and of course typical jokes emerged. "It's Barak vs Hillary 08".. Because I am a Black Male. Well anyways I won the election by one vote and the US History Teacher said that her class (which was about 60% black was voting for the wrong reasons). She was referring to the fact that I was black... Yeah... Race influences everything.

The Moral of the story: Black people are more comfortable with black people as white people with white. It's just a fact of life. Those will who chose to let that fact effect their choice in the 2008 elections, well there's nothing you can do about it.

Lol dude, I myself was wondering where I got Balakman obama. I thought it was from AOL since I'm always checking out their news.

Now that you mentioned that story. Mass Effect deals with that kind of conflict also. The Thurians are all like. "You only saved that colony because it was filled with humans," then Commander Shepard *me* was like. " I did it because they were in danger".

No, I probably won't ever be voting. My point of saying not in this election was because you can never be too sure.

If the country was 50%+ black, I'd expect it to the be the other way around, wouldn't you? So, yes, if whites pretty much run the country then they pretty much own the country. I still don't understand how it makes sense to make the majority change for the minority. I'm NOT saying to look down on the minority, or let them drag behind. I'm merely saying, majority shouldn't have to change for minority, makes NO sense.
