Reputation: 9I've only seen the flashy skills. What else does that game offer? I played European version although dced cause of my proxy.
Lots of quests, instanced dungeons (mainly through quests, but there are optional ones that are extra hard). At lvl 90 you pick 1 of 2 nations, and from then on, you can have open pvp with the other nation if you go on the War channel. There are also nation wars which are timed organised events where each nation gathers together to fight the other nation (i dont know too many details about the wars). From lvl 10 onwards, you can use 'combo' which will allow you to do your skills faster, and also eliminate the chance of missing, but it takes time, specially after you chain the 11 skill, it gets very hard to time it correctly. So grinding is a little more challenging than other games, atleast to start with. There are also Battle Modes and Auras which are temporary power ups you can use to speed up the killing or save yourself from dieing for a short period of time. Battle Mode 2 actually involves each class changing their weapon into a special one, and allows a special attack only available in Battle Mode 2. I find it a pretty fun game overall. And trying to get higher and higher combos distracts me from the grind. That said, its not much of a grind. One of the easiest to lvl MMORPGs you'll ever play. Also you have to keep using your skills to gain skill points. And since there are a lot of skill levels to get before you get your final skills, people consider skill levels a grind. Nonetheless, you're getting 1 sp to level up your skills everytime you get a skill level, rather than 1 sp everytime you lvl like a lot of other mmorpgs, and you'll be getting like 3 skill lvls per lvl around the 40s/50s, so its not grindy in that sense. But the best players strive to get the final skills as fast as possible, and if you wanna beat them to the punch, you have to ignore all quests and just lvl using your skills so you can get the final skills ASAP, which can make the game seem grindy. But if you play casually, and do the quests, the skill levels still come at a decent enough pace, and its not grindy at all.
Reputation: 192Quests? HAH and again and again...
Well, my IGN shall remain salt (FA) and apple (Wizard)! Can't wait :3.
Reputation: 9Are the quests just like kill monsters etc? Or they have something more to it? And how much does the game rely on cash shop? Since I heard its hard playing without cash shop.
Quests are mainly kill X monsters, or get Y drops. There are also lots of quests that will ask you to clear an instanced dungeon. Lvl 1-10, they'll only be like 1 room, and you'll have 2-3 mins to clear the room. Later on, in the late 30s, you'll get 40 minute dungeons that have lots of rooms, and enough hard hitting monsters to make you use your battle modes to survive (well, that was my experience with an FA). I'd say every 3rd or 4th quest is a dungeon quest.
Ya i was so excited when i heard this. I had so much fun on Closed Beta which just closed last night. Im lovingggg this game haha, cant wait till friday to play again and get my Force Blader up to high lvl since i could only reach mid lvl in CB, and FB's dont shine till high lvl anyway! I love how balanced this game is to, u can truly own with every class, depends on the player and skill. OGPlanet is pretty much rocking so far haha!

sweet,OG just gave me an early birthday present.
Reputation: 11so, i'm taking this game isn't really that bad? Would you recommend it for a casual player who enjoys pvp, and not horrible grind...
I'm sticking with Warriors the whole way. Cabal is the only game to satisfy my lust for a sword bigger than my character. Thank you Cabal!
I wanna go to the Channel were the people are friendly ya know nice comunity so which one would that be?
Reputation: 12i can see why u like big swords (looking at avatar)
and yeah
just try all the channels?
cuz people switch channels every time, depending on if tehy want to grind without lag, they would pick a server with less people, or if they want to buy/sell (ususally channel 1) so yeah
just try em all out
Reputation: 22Cool,I was a level 28 Force Shielder in the recent CB.Can't wait to play like this.I hope the open beta is 24 hours for each day it's opened, that would be cool. And from the looks of this,if the OB is even more successful than the CB then there will probably be an early full release![]()
