Now, it's understandable that people, including me, often make mistakes in our grammar and vocabulary while chatting on the internet.

However, I've ran into folks (in other forums, mind you) who brag about typing in ways that are hard to understand, and when challenged about this, proclaim, "If I type correctly, then I can't make fun of a grammar Nazi like you!"

I take pride in the fact that I at least attempt to type as well as I can on the internet.

Now for the actual topic, odd and probably meaningless as it may be.
What do you think about the way you type?
And how about your opinion on other people on how they type?

the of would be extra in case you wanted to add flow and aesthetic value to the sentence, but in terms of grammar the sentence was correctly phrased.

but really guys, need we banter about grammar? the only thing we should be pissed off about is the indecent use of smileys, and people like DoomsDayDevice are the incarnation of everything i hate on the internet

Well, perhaps in the event that the opinion was popular, I could manage to type in the manner of a "stuck up snob"; however, I find it quite ridiculus to type in a fashion where the general population has trouble comprehending the message you are stating. On the contrary, if an individual types with overall lackluster and as if a respect for themselves has been loss then I have no choice but to not respect him and hound that individual on every grammatical error that could have easily been prevented by studying closer in English.
(I could type more snobby, but I don't want you guys to have to break out the dictionary to read a post.)
Yeah that's normally how I type my papers, very (more) extensive vocabulary, because I know my teachers can understand it and even if they don't understand it they have the means to find out what a word means either by interpretation or a dictionary.

i think everyone has two modes of typing anyways, just like how you have different ways of speaking depending on who you are with. its not snobby, its just formal and informal.

Only Singaporeans or people who have lived in Singapore for quite some time can speak Singlish well, you could say its part of our culture, although its popularity really only rose in the middle of the 90s.

I usually try to type with proper spelling and grammar. My Firefox's spellcheck function is always turned on as well.

And IE fails.
And therefore, they too, fail.
