Hmm...not my type of game. It has A LOT of stuff to do, I'll give you that. A lot of different quests and stuff...but i find the combat system slow and the interface completely ******ed. Like the windmill skill, which seems to require you to target a monster to actually use it instead of just doing a windmill on the spot when you press the hotkey. This would be fine if your character actually moved to the spot where the monster is and did a windmill, but no, he doesn't move, he can only do a windmill on the spot, so a monster already has to be within range, which defeats the whole point of the cursor. Not to mention defence takes like a second to actually kick in, so its not like you see the monster attacking and throw in defence, more like you expect the monster to attack, and throw in defence early in case. Mabinogi combat is turn based in disguise. Bow's are completely gimped. They take ages to get ready, and do little damage. Not to mention after getting knocked down, your character immediately attempts another bow attack, which is pointless, because you're just gonna get knocked down again. So you basically end up fighting the interface clicking away trying to stop the game from doing what it thinks is best. I'd press the windmill key, and it'll switch to ranged attack. I have to say, this is the worst interface I've played with since Deicide.
Graphics are ok, skill animations aren't the best, but it does the job. If you dont mind the largely unresponsive combat system, its a great game.
