    Default RYL2 Not Dead

Greetings everyone, it sure has been awhile since I've last posted in the forums...

Anyways, RYL2 is still alive, and less laggy than it once was in the past.

If you do not somehow know what RYL2 is, let alone RYL1...It is a nice sized, quite fun mmorpg.

It can be played in both point and click, and like a third person shooter/slasher.

The races are human and ak'kan.
You can have race wars and fun stuff like that.

Classes go from normal sword and shield based to a gun class, sin class, so on so on. A little for everyone really.

If you do the quests you will lvl to about, ohhh, lvl 40 or so in a few days.
After that it will start to be more on the hard side, but not that hard.

Humans and Ak'kan are at war, meaning in some maps its pvp set always. If you are say, Ak and run into a Human, you can attack them, or they can attack you.

In other normal maps tho, you have to ask for a dual to pvp.

You can upgrade armor and weapons, making them more powerful.
Or try your luck for a better gear from the black market. Buying weapons and armor also have a random stat give. By hitting refresh you can go through and randomize the weapon or armor till you find one you like. For say, you go to a weapon shop, and the weapon has +10 more damage. Hit refresh it might now have +30 with other add ons. Of course better gear cost more.

The down fall to upgrading is that many players are vets, or smart sellers, thus they make loads of money. Why is that bad? Well if they gain enuf material to upgrade things, they can make weapons that have one hit kills to mostly anything...Including you.

Guilds can be formed after lvl 30. It cost 1mil which if you are smart, is not alot of money in RYL2. The guilds are RACE Guilds... Meaning a human cant join an Ak guild, and vise versa.

In RYL2 it's all about having brains. You need to know how to sell smart. The most common thing you will be selling is called a Spens, a material used to upgrade gear. Note this will be usless to you at first unless you wanna do crazy pvp. Selling spens will go for 200k-400k. The best thing to do is go around down looking at all the stalls selling spens, and checking what prices they are set. Noramlly spens sell for 200k, but if the price is high in that day, you could sell it for more, just make it abit less than everyone else tho of course.

Keep selling smart, and checking prices, and you will be on your way to be a pro. BUT, that can not be said for PVP...

You need to atleast spend 2mil to even start to become an elite PVP'er.

Just a note, the less laggy server is the 3rd, being named Poseidon.

Join Poseidon, and if you decide to be an Ak'kan, I will offer to help you out.

I even have a new guild up, named Wolf-Pack. So I can even offer membership into my guild.

My name is x_Weiss_x on my current main. I have others tho.

Always play on Poseidon server, and always play on channel 2.

Feel free to whisper me, note you can whisper players in game by typing in...

/s for example, tying in /s x_Weiss_x HI!!! will message me, saying HI!!!

I would just like you all to note most players in RYL2 have bad english.

    Most are German, or Chinese.

Currently me and the other Wolf-Pack member, we are both American.

So if you need help, you can understand us, joining Wolf-Pack can be good.

NOTE, I can only hold 10 members till we gain a LOT of rank, and I think I need to spend gold as well.

    The site is: http://www.ryl2.com.my/

The game does not have great gfx BUT you can make them better by going into SETUP when you open the game, in the window that pops up to select a server. Note the default it has set is best, unless you have a better comp it may be best you stick with the default.

    Ak'kan has 6 *I think* classes.
    Combatant:
Gunner *you can use gun arms, pretty cool, its all third person shooter.*
    Templar
    Attacker

    Officiator:
    RuneOff *Magic and all that*
ShadowOff *Like an assassin, pretty damn sweet, I'm one.*
LifeOff *Healer, and buffs, stuff like that.*

Come join, and lets have some fun...

Yeah, great game. Always loved RYL. But RYL1 is MUCH better than RYL2. The ONLY thing that RYL 2 has that is better is the Weapon Combining.

    Arena for life.

Too bad it didn't die. If you don't cash shop hard, you'll spend your days grinding ghosts.

RYL(1) was def. better then RYL2, but RYL2 is also fun and brings back the gameplay of RYL(1).

The north american RYL2 had a monthy fee of $7.99 i think but that was a few years ago, the one you posted is the malaysian version which lags for anyone that lives in north america and even more so for people in Canada. It was a great game but I stopped playing when it came out with that monthy fee. I liked my lvl 60 gunner tho but that was in beta.

    @Dero

It only lags for me when a huge group of people are bunched in town.

Sometimes I get random lag while attacking a mob, but its only for a few seconds.

The game was rather stylish but the graphics are, sad to say, rather... mediocre.
