I didnt enjoy the game. But you just might!
If you enjoy anime grahics and atmosphere in your mmorpg, but with alittle more meat on the bones to chew on, this should be something you try. The battle system requires you to remember a few basic rule of engagement, and then hone this knowledge into instincts. You do need to watch the enemy for their movements and any "signs" above the monster, but its not that awfully complicated. Also there seems to be a pretty much laid out update lineup that offers more for the game.
For me, personally, I found the battle system rather dull. I got to around level 15 and did alot of dungeon crawling. I watched alot of the youtube videos and it still felt.. stale. But that is my personal opinion, and you should really try it before you make a judgement call.
The movement also seemed sluggish. It might just be due to the version of the game, and the limitations as well from the CB, but it felt sluggish to me. I tend to ask for more responsive controls, and I feel i might have enjoyed the battle system itself otherwise. I did take what i played and compared it to some later versioned video and it didnt seem to change much.
That and the graphics annoyed me. Some of you might say graphics dont matter, but I am talking more of the STYLE than the pixel count. I can appreciate the more serious anime style, of more standard humonoid proportions. I, for whatever its worth, just cannot enjoy nor appreciate the anime style presented in this particular mmorpg. It is the same reason I could not get into DOMO. But this is more of a style, rather than graphic quality itself.
But from features alone, this game looks solid for those who enjoy the style within, and the method of gameplay itself. Screenshots nor youtube bad quality video cant give a game justice or truth. You should always try it for at least 10 hours of playing, even if its goofing off, to get the jest of it.
But this game is no messiah. It is a game that has seemingly passed the longevity test in it's home country, and been finally ported to here. There are merits for that alone.
I would say try it. If you have fun then stay and enjoy yourself. If you dont then dont play and find a mmorpg that is more to your liking. If everyone had the same tastes and there was one clear winner then only 1 mmorpg would exist. Remember, {take this only as a example okay?} while WoW might have 10 million players, there are more than 10 million playing mmorpgs elsewhere, many times fold. So.. I say check it out!
