PSP trouble

alright i recently updated my psp to 3.80 and at first i couldnt load any of my saved games, so i thought it erased my old saves, i was fine with that, but now cant save at all, it says error 8011321 (i think) or that there is no mem stick. please help i need to save man

How about inserting a memory chip?

yea i tryed to start a new profile on gangs of london and it said Save Failed (80110388) then i tried it on rainbow six vegas and it said the memory stick has been removed i had previous profiles on all of them. my music and videos still work its just my games i realy dont want to spend another 100 dollers on a new mem stick

EDIT: alright im an idiot, i reformated my PSP and it worked, cant belive it was so easy, thought i would have to buy a new mem stick.
