    Default How do i override this damned filter.

    this thing is driving me nuts,i cant do anything "This is incidental porn" or "Cannot view site "Pornography"..Worldofwarcraft.com..Wtf? argh this is nuts

    probably a virus, run a virus check or try connecting to the sites IP

    well just log on as an administrator and look to see whats been installed. then either turn it off or edit the options.

    nah its a filter, i can tell,for example,if i goto youtube,type in "porn"(just for a example). I push search,it only comes up to a page with a stop sign,and it says "Blocked due to pornography".

    Yea virus most likely. Anyways if scanning doesn't work I'd suggest reformatting computer.

    why would a virus stop you accessing adult sites but not do anything else>_>



    just switch off the antivirus or if its like parental controls on your browser or something just use a different browser.

    Try through something like http://greenrabbit.org/

    I don't think uninstalling the filter would be a good idea if your dad installed it, I think he might notice..

    Or boot a live linux cd when you want to browse for pr0n. That way it doesn't even touch the hard drive.

    Yeah, but the House of Rep.'s can override the Senate. Checks and Balances are a ***** aren't they?
