yeh, direct linking didn't work for me
so i had to save mine to my comp
then upload it from there

I just uploaded it, even if you cant direct link you could probably just save it onto your computer and upload it.

The remote function right now isnt what you think it is. All it does is allow you to upload an image to onrpg from a remote place. Its not different than uploading your own picture from your computer.
At the moment we are trying to find a way to get remote avatars to work. It isn't included in vBulletin because the creators of vBulletin have considered it a security issue and as such never included it. The only way to get remote avatars is to somehow find a mod or hack that adds it.
