XP /run secret thingy.

Okay, a friend told me about this, I've tried it on my computer and I've had a chatroom do it (Cue de bacn).

Basically if you go to "Run" then type in "Telnet"

It should open a black box saying "Welcome to Microsoft telnet client."

Now, from here type "o", it should now say "< to >". (If it doesn't, you've typed a zero rather than an 'o'.)

From here type in "towel.blinkenlights.nl".

Viola. Enjoy.

yea, it's just a network communication protocol. You are pointing it to a server. No easteregg.

Telnet is an MS-DOS program used to connect to networks/computers.
Its nothing new and its not secret, you can also get to it by running MS-DOS and then typing in telnet
and the 'o' means open a connection to the '<to>' network/computer.
