ive tried to deal with the problems with advitisors, hackers and cheaters. but it seem like no one cares and everybody's toungs are up those Mods' asses.

I volunteered for a moderatorship.. if i would be one i visit these forums so often it would be ULTRA clean..

You can only "clean" up the section your appointed to. There is no one mod that can "clean" the entire forum.

It lacks mods maby a member/volunteer mod system would work here aswell..

Its proven to be good many times...

Thankyou so much for this info. Unlike a few others, I appreciate this new knowledge and will definately play this game. Me and my brother are really interested in it, especially the RvR.

If the staff of Onrpg wants to enforce a rule for no talk about private servers then listing two in the biggest games thread part 2 must be a mistake? or they accept these projects are open source and some what legal if so they cant be picky about DAoC open source project being talked about.

You know what the problem is with those mods? The time difference.
at GMT +1 4-11AM all of the mods are able to come online, but at 8PM, nobody is here. So what to do? Get a mod for my timezone =]

I hate trying to explain everything to every single person. It gets quite annoying.

I do wish you children can begin to think for yourselves and do a bit of searching and research. I am sure you will find the answer on your own.

Not too sure what you are trying to get at here for one not a child and second the DAoC project being discussed here is their own server daemon built from the ground up like the two swg servers that are being listed in the biggest game list thread part 2 so by question still stands if the onrpg staff say its ok for these projects to be listed and talked about why not the DAoC open source project that is the same thing?

I've always loved DAoC but never had time to play it so I stopped a very very long time ago, I'll try these "private" servers and see if it's stable

and hyarume really, SoTNW it's not that great, it's a grindfest at it's core, yeah, the game has some unique features but they can't really hide the huge grind the game represents

Hah...

These private servers are so stable, the downtime is max 10 mins once a week for a restart or so.

Also, no grind fest, easy spend like 30 hours on the game and you're level 50. Unlike 400 hours required normally. Ok maybe less than 400. If you get a powerlevel on DoL: Storm, you can easily go 1-50 under 4 hours, solo is around 25ish

Either way, no grind fest like the other games... I also cant forget when i spent 40$ on Eudemons Online to get like 2.5k EPs, and to only know that I failed to upgrade my sword to a super, any idea how disappointed I was? I was ready to sue the company. LOL

Anyways Sotnw is the one for me.. i enjoy it alot..

The gameplay with mcc and the skills.. the unique pvp FUN! the roflols in town with the emotes.. the fantastic features colonly wars factions clans raids ect..

The music, i love it...
The gfx, amazing..

The game is fun in groups aswell and a big grind? Sotnw has Quests inc instances! and the char system... oh.. dont forget the Customizable pvp and mission lobbies.
