I need something that would accept me in without waiting months and that would have housing and all the needed stuff but yet pay for schooling and (not needed but I want to do this) medical area so I can work to be a doctor.
ps: Something came up so I have to find something to do within the next month or 2 if it keeps up the way its going. Was about to start college in like April but...
So your saying the army? Because they have army, navy, air force, marine corps, coast guard, and national guard. I'd prefer medical field if possible. I'm not best shape of my life but I'm not bad (can't do 20 pushups, cant run a mile ect ect but I'm not bad lol). I'm 18 turning 19 this year. I'm about 5'10 and about 185 pounds.
From what I can tell (By your post), your best bet would be the Air Force. But seriously, the last place you should be asking this is a forum full of hippies and gamers. The above posts are great examples.
Go to a military websites forums (Military.com, for instance). You'll get a lot better answers.
Sorry but this is the only way if things keep up the way they are. Job I applied for is $17.51 a hour but then I have to pay for gas and all the house payments ect. I couldn't live off of that alone, and thats IF I get the job if not then I'd be making like $10 max.
Then I'd lose all hope of getting into college because I'd be working full time to support myself and end up in debt later in my life in a dead end job. So the military is a good way out if you see it through my eyes. I'm about to turn 19 was plaining to join college in April but yeah not gonna happen now I bet.
In the military I could have place to stay and have food. I will have good benefits and be going to school for what I'm working in. Later on I may end up staying to be a higher up, who knows?
Marineking : Thats the main reason I asked 2 other forums I go to. Bad part all of them are gaming forums too haha. I never go to a site just to chat. Thanks I'll go check that site out and send them a email asking for advice.
Actually, from what I've heard the Marine Corps have the most hardcore training, but the Air Force has the most tactical and by far probably the safest position, that and pilots are revered, although you need 20/20 eyesight and be born with Tom Cruise-Top gun piloting skills.
Also, scratch the army reserves off your list, with the warmonger of a president still in office, even the reserves are in danger, and their benefits aren't comparable to a normal marine.
Best site I can really think of is www.goarmy.com
I'm thinking on joining the mechanics course for a while, due to medical conditions im not physically capable of taking damage, but I can always use mah brain powuh.
