Should I just go back to wow? lol /cry

Well I havn't played wow in a lil over a year now. Been waiting and hoping for a newer better game to come out but I am severely disappointed. By taking a look at the major upcomming games like Warhammer Age of conan Darkfall and some others I can see that these games are complete jokes. I just don't get it. I really want to play a MMO but theres just nothing good out there it seems.

if you think im full of shit just goto youtube and watch warhammer aoc and darkfall videos then watch a WoW video.

If you guys know of any other up and coming games please post a link so I can check them out

p.s im really not trying to make another WOW IS teh greatest thread but honest to god what the **** is going on in the gaming industry.

You could take a break from the online gaming and perhaps play a single player game, or even an online game that doesn't involve the PC.

Sorry, but I will laugh at that for hours on end.

From 1-70, I have never done an instance and soloed everything. The only things I have never soloed are certain situations in Outland.

You only need to do instances if you want to gain any serious honor or to do dungeon quests.

Now if you said GW = instances, I would not have posted.

I constantly ask myself "What's the point of MMO's?" because it seems that you just level and level to get to a certain point and stop.

WoW changed me though! T.T I don't know what it is, but the game is just so addictively fun! ^_^

So yes, technically, to get the good gear you have to "instance". No game is going to hand you free things. You have to spend time in order to get rewards in WoW, unfortunately. It's not that hard, honestly. Pick something you want and just grind for it.

I'm sorry, but that's pretty much impossible. To get the best gear in the game you absolutely 100% HAVE to raid. But that's what many people don't understand, you don't have to do that or even raid to enjoy WoW. Many aspects of the game appeal to casual gaming just as how the new Sunwell and Magisters Terrace will appeal to more experienced/Hardcore.

I fall comfortable into the "Mildcore" demographic. I'm satisfied with my character and whenever I can raid I'm usually able to. If I don't feel like doing that though, I can hop on another character, do some quests, PvP a bit or maybe hop in a short instance. Seriously, my guilds Ramparts speed run contest was one of my best experiences so far.

It wasn't child porn, it was different porn. And how was i supposed to know they get pissed over one little nude site?

But that was the first time i got temp banned, this time it was for the use of a 3rd party software. I still have no clue what it was that corrupted my game files to make it seem like i was cheating...maybe my model edits?

Well, it's kind of common sense to not post anything porn related in WoW. But a while ago my account was temporarily banned for "Third party software", when the only kind of third party software I used were coordinate and map mods. I called in and they said that I was actually banned for sharing my account (My friends and I dual-boxed). Other than that Blizzard has been spot on with my support.
