Sorry about all the grammar errors I have and its my first review so its going to be very shitty but still!
Now well... I'm sure not all of you like the 360, or you don't even have this game but I must say this might be one of my favorite games ever. I am only 12 hours in but I am having a great time and I'm enjoying it completely.
Gameplay
----------
It's turnbased like many rpgs and the game can be very hard at some times. The combat requires you to think and if you don't then you aren't going to last long during boss battles or the game alone.
There are some puzzles that are required during the game, but aren't very hard which may be a good thing for some people.
Basically if you love final fantasy 7, 9, 10 you will love this game. There are also optional bosses and a damage ring which will make your damage increase if you time it well. Both features are really good.
Story
------
You play as Kaim Argonar, the 1000 year old Immortal. But Kaim has also lost his memory. As you progress through the game you will be getting your memories back by bits. You will also be reunited with older friend/comrades that will join you throughout the game. Although some memories are good, some are also painful to Kaim. The story will make you joyfully sad at some parts and it can touch you deeply. There is also the "Thousand years of dreams" feature which tells you about the sad, and happy things about Kaim's past through short novels.
Music/Sound
-------------
The soundtrack is made by Nobuo Uematsu, known for his music in the Final Fantasy series, and he does a damn good job with lost odysseys music. It flows with the game well with the battle themes, and the dozens of cinematics that are put in the game. Some energetic, and some sad.
Sound effects and overall sounds are good and honestly don't have anything else to really say to that....
Graphics
---------
With the game running at 720p/1080i/1080p it looks fantastic. The game runs on the Unreal Engine 3, but its not all dark and evil looking like most UE3 games. Its very bright and colorful and some environments in the game are mind-blowing. It uses the engine very well and the only problems are that you may get graphic lag/fps drop in the beginning of cinematics and battles but it runs normal 2 seconds later. Most reviewers had a earlier version of the game that had problems with load times, but the released version has no problems with load times. They are only about 3-5 seconds long.
Overall
-------
Although I'm only 12-13 hours in so far this game is a great rpg and I recommend it to any turn-based fan. I'm telling you if you liked FFX, FFVII, and others you will love this game!!!
My score: 9.0/10
If anyone wants to hear a review for when I'm fully completed with the game I'll think about it.
EDIT: God damn this is the longest thing I've ever wrote on the intarwebs.
I just recently picked this game up, and loving it, only issues for me, is the frame rate, i don't know if its only me but ever single Non-CG cut scene really buckles and its really noticeable, Really buckles when a cut scene happens and sometimes another little window pops up more stuff happens in it, Oh yeah also another little thing, when you get into a battle they characters talk and there mouths don't move, it aint big or anything but i noticed it in the first battle scene . Everything else i love about it, such a fantastic game. If you love Jrpg GET IT. Wont be disappointed
