    Which virus scan are you using now?

    Might I suggest you run your scan in safe mode.... much easier to clean certain infections in this mode.

    Also, I would run:

    Spybot Search and Destroy
    (decent freeware app that removes malware)

    if im not wrong , its a scam a joke , firewall indeed needed.
