Of course dota needs skills...It requires a lot strategy, and team work.
Theres so much planning involved in this game. Combining items, correctly executing skills by each millisecond, knowing when to push and when to defend, farming, working as a team, and the list goes on and on.
Dota is DEFINITELY not a mindless, simple game.
As for friends, obviously thats optional...but playing with real-life friends just makes it that much funner. Especially if your better
