Yup, I still have the beta burned on a disc somewhere. Absolutely loved that game. I miss my Undead Claw fighter. QQ

Black Moon Chronicles and Renewal were probably the games I missed playing the most from early 2k's.

NOTE: Just found this out when you reminded me of the game.

In January 2007 the Company AmalGame-Online Inc. restarted development on Black Moon Chronicles. The Open Beta should start at end of February 2008.

Yeah i was hoping this game would get revived again, this is one that definately deserves to live again, huge world, some areas closed of and unfinished due to company problems, getting max level was only able to be done by invading the opposing factions city? i or capital city, cant remember, and killing their guards, generals, and their city npcs and such, good thing they are bringing it back, hopefully they can finish off the game that was supposed to be finished off long ago. great game for sure. Cant remember about the quests but it did have a real storyline, also depending which faction you chose, some sort of storyline atleast throughout the quests along with side quests that aren't part of the story.

    The game deserves a chance..
I'm wondering if we could hype it!

Anyone here that played it, before it shut down?
    How was it?

BLOODY good and addictive Unique classes Phalanx, Paladin, Warriors, Black Mage's, Ghoul's and more

Many stuff to do and u wont be bored :P and also this kinda has some grinding but MOSTLY quest's to level and expect some awesome boss fight's as well :P

    (this from http://rpgvaultarchive.ign.com/featu.../bmcqa03.shtml)
The biggest challenge we're faced with is figuring out new ways to keep the game fresh, even after you've spent 100 hours playing it. Offline games rarely provide more than 50 hours of unique contents. When you go online, you're expected to give new contents to a clientele that plays 15 hours per week (that's 60 a month, and those are softcore players). It's a whole new scale we're working with, and it can't rely on traditional designs.

I wouldn't hype it, just wait and see when the game is released.

Black Moon's source code and client were over at Source Forge for a while. There are alot of games that are in open source development.

Red Moon , I dont remember the name of the individuals who were working on it, but they took it from 1k levels to 3k levels (think it was 2005 when they did this)

Yes let's hope so.. because at that price range you can play some pretty well done MMORPG's.

    Looks Pretty Cool.
But I need The Low Specs On it.
    Other than that,
    I love the comic effects,
But It doesn't look like the game I would "Pay" For.
