no idea, but my friend had some freshwater tropical fish once (i think thats what they were) and this one fish did a shit that was twice the length of its body before it detatched.sorry for ruining your thread.
a relative of mine had an outdoor freshwater fish pond, it had some of those oxygenating plants you are supposed to use but they grew too fast and were choking the pond, had to dig out a whole load of them so the fish could actually move. i dunno about other plants though. some cats broke in and ate all but one fish after only a few weeks
