Default Guitar Hero Made me Hallucinate?

My little sister got Guitar Hero III last night. Now, I had played it before, randomly (at friend's houses etc.), and it was like playing any other game...
but when I actually sat down to complete a few songs (I wasn't sitting at the screen for hours.. I had only played one or two at this point)

I had just completed a song; I put down the guitar for a moment and my eyes glanced at the cupboards under my TV. They were wiggling... not just kind of wiggling (extremely reminiscent of being on acid) but REALLY wiggling. There was more wiggling than anything I had ever seen wiggle, ever.

My first thought was: I haven't done acid in forever, wtf is happening to me. I was actually frightened, because I had just had 12 hours of sleep - so exhaustion wasn't an explanation for this mysterious wiggling.

Has I just been staring at the screen for too long, the motion of notes rushing at my face?

It happens everytime I play now and makes me slightly dizzy.

So my sisters and I all sat there like a group of junkies being all "huhuhuh the floor is wigglingg"

Lmfao. Kitty, the same stuff happens to me. After playing a few songs, the floor, t.v, table, hell everything, starts moving in a sort've..wave pattern. I don't really know why it does it. I knew I wasn't the only one cause I had a few friends over, and they experienced the same thing. If all goes wrong, we can sue Activision for distorting our vision.

its because your eyes are fixed on something thats moving at a constant pace for awhile, then you look away....after you play for a few times it eventually stops

Thats what me and my friend said. We're like "woah look at the carpet its moving......trippy" *hits joint*

Edit: ^ No its like you visualize the track moving upwards, but cutting off at the end.

Lol. That is nothing more than an optical illusion. Much like that spiral; the one you can look at for 30 seconds, then see everything twisting and such. Its because your eyes get used to the pattern, and want to continue it.

A friend of mine had the same problem with DDR.

Personally though, I can't even look at Guitar Hero. Never even tried to play it, because I get that, along with a feeling of vertigo really, REALLY bad (just watching people play it. So, maybe having done acid in the past, we have opened up our minds to react differently. (since I get the same thing). I think everyone gets it, but we just get it quicker, and more intense.

That sounds like a form of stress...do you start to "black out" or get a bad head rush when you stand up sometimes? That is overwhelming stress in your life. I had the same thing...and I eventually saw a doctor for it. He said it was common with teenagers, and gave me some sort of pills (prolly a placebo, but it worked lol)
