Help buying a Laptop, Please!

I'm looking for an good spec laptop with my budget 800$ USD, but im not a hardware person. Can anyone help me find a good one online please? Thanks in advance. :3

P.S I just need it for research, homework, browse internet, watch videos, and listen to music. In other words not for game, and i realized this is a game forum

Also buy some more ram for it and you should be good.

Yea i would also recomend this, and when you get some spare cash i would upgrade it to 2 gigs of ram.

Also, although the Asus EEE PC is thiny and cheap, its very under powered, using a crappy linux distro (although you can run XP or another linux distro) no ram, no space, like a 8'' screen. Not worth it.
