teacher/doctor/engineer, I plan on being one of those, I recently had an articulation in my middle school to see what classes I'll be taking, and I plan on taking Japanese as my world language, and I get all these ******ed friends saying that Spanish is better because were closest to Mexico
Personally, I think in the long run, since Japan has a larger and more expensive economy, getting a job in Japan would get you some money, and I don't really know what Mexico has to offer but border jumpers mowing your lawn (jk jk jk jk).
Plus the fact that Japan has more uber technology then us Americans, I see more benefit in learning Japanese, but my friends seem to only see 10 years ahead of them, I don't think I'll be staying in California when I grow up.
