Which one is more fun?

mabinogi... but thats just my opinion, maple is more umm "grindy"
well depends on your tastes..
do you think you have more fun playing
a 3d game or a 2d side scrolling game?
are you prepared for tactical fighting or constant attack spamming/dodging?
do you like grind or a lot of grind?
what i usually do is find youtube videos of gameplay to see which i like more.
but me personally, i've only played maplestory so its not fair for
me to give you my personal pick~
Reputation: 10Mabinogi, anything is better than maple story.
I personally don't like mabi ive played the TW version it was ok now i dunno I prefer maple anyways![]()
Almost anything is better than MS. I dont like Mabi, but its one of hte better games out there, and it wipes the floor with Maple Story. Although, I would prefer staring at a wall over playing MS.

there are aspects that people will find that make the game better than others
but in the end it all goes back to your opinion.
but yea MrWafflez... i think you're right.
I don't know why you tried to force an insult into a situation where it didn't work at all, since I had not mentioned player vs. player or the fact that it was a necessity in a game. Thus I could care less about PvP not being in Maplestory. I'll force something in now:
At least Maplestory has an excuse for having the graphic style it has. It's a 2D side-scroller, that's the hook. The graphics may be hideous compared to other games, but in the 2D MMOG world they're very good.
Can you explain the reasoning behind the hideous graphics of Mabinogi? I mean, there's no excuse for that. It's near the bottom of it's class in modern day games.
Reputation: 10Maple story was a waste of time and I quit it once I hit level 20 and became a thief.. it was just too pathetic. The grind is the factor in which I dislike the game, and yes.. grind is in every game, but that isn't an excuse and should be a fair line between grind and actual fun.
In Mabinogi.. there is a choice of not even thinking about leveling and just casually play the game as it is, hunting an option.. and part-time jobs take over the way of making money. Combat especially is something to improve on every time.. known as, "Tactics". Plenty of skills.. and much more in the later updates, Mabinogi compared to Maple Story.. as some other person said, "No contest".. Maple Story lacks many things that Mabinogi has. Therefore I put my vote in for Mabinogi.. Adios Amigos, and good night. =.=;
It doesn't really matter how old it is, because they just barely released it here. If they had released it sooner like most companies would have, then it would have been OK. Thus is the case with World of Warcraft.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder normally refers to people, not to games. But whatever, I'll accept that as a reason.
I understand the first statement, and I honestly feel like Maple combat is more fun in the time before the game gets boring. It's more arcade style, and that is more suited to my preference.
On the second statement, we already established that point and I agreed with the reason given by the other person. No need to retaliate any further.
Reputation: 10Is it me or is mabinogi really extremely laggy?
I mean I'm trying to fight and all my guy does is stand there then the enemies gets in front of me and flys me across the area!
I dont get this game! RGGGGH.
Reputation: 10game combat is slow on purpose in order to throw in the ability to predict ur enemies moves and counter so it isnt lag ur feeling, it was slow for me as well in the beginning but after i got a sufficient amount of skills combat got faster and more fun, game actually makes u think before u act not many games do that
Mmm more like buggy ? I dunno I only have that problem with foxes as they move too fast and our character is too stupid to follow him so he teleport where he was to try again to hit him >.< but anyway I don't even know if that is the problem you are talking about...
Maplestory : Boring, grindy sidescroller where all you can do is jump and hit, there are a few skills but still its a pretty boring grind and there are high lvl guys killing low lvl monsters that you are trying to kill so yea people isn't really friendly on Maple...
Maginogi : Nice fighting system, took me a while to understand how to fight properly but still its pretty nice, outdated graphics ? those are still friendly enough when you get used to. The community is friendly. There is much more to do than fighting ^^.
Reputation: 482Mabinogi has a "tactical" battle system in which you press a different function to match the situation. Instead of pressing the potion button to restore your life at the right moments and attack skills to damage your foe, you press an attack or guard skill at the right moment to stay alive. Wow that's a big improvement from other F2P point n clickers.
Maplestory is just as boring with the same repetitive skill use, and monster training hour after hour. there are hacker waves which ruin the fun and a lot of annoying people. The skills are cool for about the first few hours after you get them then they just become a part of everyday training. How fun right?
And yet, I've played Maplestory till level 76 and had more fun grinding away each day with my friends than i had learning how to play mabinogi with some of the same people (and that should be the funnest part of the game, learning how to play it). I would never play mabinogi again and yet i'm looking forward toward the new class addition to MS with great anticipation even though i know the exp rates will be the same. Grind isn't everything, especially when you are not looking to be a particular level.
Even without PVP, Maplestory has kept my attention and made me want to play for four years and counting. I've know about Mabinogi for nearly that long and I've never wanted to play it and when I did it made me hate it more.
my opinion is I hate both games.
