Default Better game Requiem or Rohan

This is not based on graphics btw I'm in the CB for Rohan and found that Rohan got really repetitive early on, and the quest were really bland. I loved playing EQ2 because of the huge world and immersive quests, and heard that Requiem was kinda like that. Can anyone validate these remarks for me.

Played both and must say that Rohan is far better than Requiem.

I gotta say, I'm not at all impressed by Rohan's graphic.

The control is a bit awkward too, especially the wasd. Might as well take that out as it interferes with the more functional click-to-move.

they did something even better~ which was to implement BOTH wasd and point & click into the game.

i never played Requiem but from what i hear from you all, i would just stick with Rohan. They gave out new item mall items for the CBT and i enjoyed riding the sweet lion mount~

the community in rohan is okay~ the usual idiotic whiners and spammers around but the gms and mods are also very very active, whether it be in-game or on forums. this game i gotta say is one of the few games that i have played that actually has the staff listen to player suggestions and complaints. OG Planet's Cabal could sure learn a thing or two from this company....

oh oh it's Asian! =D I gots a new Sakura siggy! (Courtesy of Lorek~)

ontopic: At least OG planet is bringing in Latale which looks pretty fun. And Cabal is a giant grind anyways with flashy skills. It'll take forever to get in that game if they're going with the same cash model as the EU Cabal. In Rohan the biggest thing to look foreward to (in my opinion) would be the city building which seems to be one the key features of another well known (and hopefully to be released) mmorpg/rts/fps Dark Fall.

Ahahaha I guess we'll just take this to PM's then :3

Anyways, I haven't played Requiem as of yet but I haven't seen any mounts. I know for sure that there are mounts in Rohan due to the number of people riding giant Saber Tooth Tigers every where but does Requiem even have mounts? D:

if not then that's a +1 for Rohan (if the OP is still unsure).

Gameplay wise... I would say that they both have some good things into them. Rohan probably is less original though.
are you kidding me ? shaiya's graphics is a crap, Rohan is the best here!

I played Rohan, the graphics were quite terrible if you ask me, even if it is in CB. Requiem's graphics were actually decent with the physics engine adding a bit of enjoyability of the graphics and they haven't implemented all of the graphical options yet.

    Requiem -
Is a bit more original than Rohan. Its major features DNA, skills selection, and dungeons are better than Rohan overall.

Rohan begins bland , gets blander, the monsters never become interesting or too strong for four person party. There is no way to ease the grind, no reward vs risk , that you in Requiem.

The skills in Rohan are pretty useless, you get pigeon hold into path early on. Its like the Fire buff , everyone gets, it life taps , but at rank 5 , even with a Dragon guy heavy DPS build you get 20 to 30 hp back.

Most of the other skills are about the same , the investment doesnt pay off for the work. The best skills are linear with no real choices.

Stats are also linear in most of the classes/races , while they give you 4, magic defense and mp regen stats greatly weaken player builds. It comes down to max/min optimal builds.

The dungeons are basically as entertaining as Rappelz dungeons. The areas never give you sense of advancement or change.

Requiem biggest feature is the Nightmare mode , which produces very strong enemies and changes the area your in. Requiem also provides more chances for team tactics and team advancement, especially the higher lvl bosses which are very strong.

Both games are on equal footing with thier refinement systems. Rohan has no outlet to gain parts as rapidly as Requiem , but Requiem has much higher failure.

Most the dishearting thing about Rohan its lack animations and how bland all the monsters are , its pretty comparable to Lineage 1.
