Whats your favourite movie genre?

So theres been many a thread in the past discussing movies, but I was curious... what is OnRpg's favourite movie genre?

For me its gotta be action movies, particularly those from the 80's, the cheesier the better. I dunno why, maybe its because you already know whos gonna die right from the start and the plot is so black and white. The good guys are obvious, the badguys are obvious, and theres enough one liners to fill a swimming pool, plus theres always the default mega gunfight/showdown at the end with the boss/right hand man. epic.

so whats your favourite movie genre? vote and post some reasons explaining why if you feel like it.

edit: I left out musicals because there was no more room, plus... i dint think many of you would vote for that compared to the genres that are included. I also left out animated because theres an anime section so this is just for non-animated movies. I also left out adventure type movies since most of those can be put under fantasy anyway.

Comedy, and honestly... That's about it. Action/Drama, sometimes.

But I barely watch a movie that won't make me laugh.

The Horror

The B-Horror flicks, or just B-movies in general. I love little independent films. I sometimes find myself watching movies of even lesser quality, though.

Watch "Mr. Jingles" for a great example of what is best described as a D-horror movie. It's god awful.

Can be about the 40's, 60's, modern, w/e. I love me a war movie.

haha its ok. i left out comedies since honestly i thought people here would all be horror/gore and sci fi junkies.

Comedy for me. If it's mixed with romance, I'd like it even better. Action would be my second favorite on the list. Everything else can rot in hell. Especially horror

I don't like horror because its like "D::::: HE DIED :[ " then everyone tells me to shut up, and then something pops out and I'm like "AGH!" and its really scary :[
