Roleplaying or Hack & Slash or Run and Fetch

I've met a lot of people that say they enjoy roleplaying and want an MMORPG where they can roleplay. Online MMORPGs seem to be only two types: "Hack & Slash" or "Run and Fetch". The only MMORPG I've seen that actually seems to be designed for roleplaying is Pernica.

Unfortunately Pernica has graphics that aren't high end. This could be a plus for those that don't have high powered PCs with the latest graphics card. And a lot of features that players expect out of games are lacking. The inventory panel doesn't have graphic icons for items. The magic system hasn't been implemented yet. But at least the mobs aren't just preprogrammed to follow scripted paths.

arad/DnF is a beat-em-up style game (arcadeish), good mmo, im picky on games, and this has lasted me more than half a year meaning its goooood :O, bash it if you want i dont care

For storyline/RP, the first, It has a better community, damn that game own especially because of its awesome multiplayer where we gotta do the quest that the dungeon master (host) made for us with the editor :3 That game is really nice :3

Well I can deal with a hack and slash.... as long as the characters are extremely adorable and can be customized with cute accessories.

Most RPs are pay to play.... If I wanted to waste $15 a month I'd rather start doing drugs then pay companies to laugh at me.
