    Default What would you say are the 5 most popular F2P MMORPGs out at the moment?

    No B2P, list in descending, best to worst order.
    I don't know much, but I'd say...

    1) Maple Story
    2) Silkroad Online
    3) Rohan
    4) Cabal
    5) Nostale?

    I started this thread because (after surfing this board for half a decade and only starting an account recently) I wanted to know which games were always most popular at the time, so I'd know what to play, and go with the flow until I find something I solidly like enough to play long-term.

    So, I'm hoping that the thread is long-lived, it'll keep us up to date with what people are playing, more so than the "What are you playing now?" thread, which isn't that active, and doesn't give a wide perspective.

    This thread will help to let people know what games are being played by the onrpg community at present time, and let people 'keep up', so to speak.

    Despite what I have said in the past 3 paragraphs, I am in no way discouraging playing old MMORPGs if you haven't tried them yet.

    After years and years, I still play Monster and Me, even when it was P2P, for example.

    Maple Story
    Mabinogi
    FlyFF
    Runescape (Yes, tons of people DO play this)
    ...and, uh... Silkroad I guess.

    1) Wonderland (its just talked about too much).
    2) Flyff (right up there on Xfire).
    3) Rohan (Muchly anticipated, but unfortunatly its not out yet).
    4) Cabal
    5) Silkroad (?) (Its got alot of playtime looking at Xfire, but the majoroty of that comes from bots).

    Wonderland really isn't all that popular yet. It just went into Closed Beta... you're seeing all the talk because they have an event going on... you can win a 2X EXP item for promoting their game on different forums. Unfortunately, this is making people hate it... too much spam. I know this is off-topic, but please don't judge Wonderland, people...

    I,d see many ppl say sro

    but in my eyes its not popular

    Just a (worldwide) victim of bot abuse (i think asian ppl go to sro Global just to bot without bann even tho they got there own...

    Eventhough I hate Maple Story...
    I still 'd rather see it at the top instead of SilkroadOnline.
