Reputation: 13Everyone is just trying to look for a new game that they can enjoy, that's all >_>.
We have too much crappy free MMO now, that's why people are migrating all over the place hoping there is one game they can stay, meet new people and have fun.
And really, their Guild War system looks really promising, and they have features a lot of free games have and don't like pets, transportation, different races, machines, etc.
Reputation: 372well for my part it's the setting that draws me towards it. I love steampunk, or rather I love games in general that are set in places that mix old with new.
What I find funny is how much people are bashed on this forum for making judgements based on videos and screenshots... I get it if it's some kind of lame advertizement video that only show 3 secs of gameplay on max settings and the rest being CG-animations with people being roxor, but other than that I usually find games to be more or less exactly like what I guessed they would be like based on the gameplay vids I see, screenshots and some reading up on the general features.
Gameplay vids show you the mechanics. mmorpg's in general are usually very similar when it comes to core-gameplay anyhow, so it doesn't take a genius to make a accurate guess on how it will be based on gameplay vids and reading up on the different features of the game.
I can't remember being surprised a single time after having installed or bought a game... Seriously, the people whos expectations are crushed when they finally play a game, either A) didn't do any kind of "research" at allhave no experience what so ever with gaming or C) are just too damn gullible.
