My Dissertation... is finished?

Ok so right now im going over a few technical things like double spacing all the work and checking that referencing is correct and junk. ill be going in to the library tomorrow to print it all off and hand it in..... and now im starting to get really worried.

the dissertation is worth a third of my degree and ive been working on it for about five or six months. thats a really long time for one peice of work and so much is riding on it.

i figured that once id got it finished i could just relax and forget about it but IM SHITTING MY PANTS

in hindsight i wish id worked harder but im just so sick of reading the same stuff over and over again, re-reading and re-writing and editing endlessly.

has this ever happened to anyone else, like, you spend so long working on something that eventually it starts to annoy you, then you start to dislike it, then you start to hate it and wish that it was over. then when it is over you wish it wasnt because now you are panicking about the grade.

or maybe its just me, i dunno.

so how long did it turn out?

it was on the 1905 revolution in russia, looking at why it was considered a failure with stuff like the response of the elite, the degree of change after 1907 and the differences between the various revolutionary groups

the word limit was 10,000 and i didnt go over by too much.

this year was kinda dumb though, they gave us lots of other work to do on top of the dissertation, so many other degrees are 4 years long so i think they shoulda made ours 4 years instead of 3. then i could of spent the entire fourth year focusing on the dissertation. ah well.
