    Default Question on making gameplay videos.

    What programs(s) do i use to make gameplay vids and is there anything else neccessary to make them?

    an help would be appreciated and sorry if this is the wrong section.

    gamecam works best

    And if your wanting to do some serious editing, try to find adobe after effects its the best.

    someone a while back told me something about fraps or something like that,can i just use gamecam?

    The two main programs used too capture game play videos is Fraps and GameCam both have unlimited free trials but it is recommended that you buy them. Also if you want too add your own music/text you would need Windows movie maker which can downloaded from the Micosoft website or some people already have it.

    Fraps is rather bulky. If you don't have a decent computer or are running a game that is intensive on your computer, your frames per second usually cap at around 10 sometimes 15. Gamecam is very small and I feel little drop in framerate whenever I use it.

    Fraps > GameCam, Fraps causes less lag and has slightly higher quality.

    Fraps is faster for me is capping at around 20 FPS with GC and with Fraps I was running at a usual 60 FPS.

    i have a damn good laptop so no worries there,i guess i will download fraps and gamecam and see what i can do with them

    i may need more help so stay tuned for noobish questions =0

    Edit: how do i use fraps to record the video????

    Holy shit,i just downloaded the full version of fraps through torrent
