Bioshock Coming To PS3?
Long rumored 2K Boston title rumored to come out this fall.

April 25, 2008 - It's been long rumored that Bioshock would eventually make the leap from the Xbox 360 to the PS3. After all, 2K Boston's critically acclaimed title moved from the console to the PC, and a code snippet found in configuration files for that port last year listed PS3 settings. Now, according to the upcoming issue of EGM, the move to Sony's system could be coming this fall. Supposedly in the rumor section of the magazine, Bioshock will be coming to PS3s this September, around the same time that details for Bioshock 2 will be released to the public. Bioshock 2, it should be pointed out, is expected to be released across the PC, PS3 and 360 instead of being exclusive to one platform.

The port will supposedly feature the previously released downloadable content and will have improved visuals over the PC and Xbox 360 versions of the game. We contacted 2K Games for a statement on this new rumor and were told, "No comment."

The part in bold is incorrect. BioShock was made for both at the same time, just marketed to the console audience, as the sales their would be higher (most people wouldn't be able to handle the PC requirements.) Even from the beginning, 2K had planned to release to the PC since their System Shock titles were originally PC based.

RE5 was a deciding factor for getting a PS3 for me. I love the series ever since the first game came out, I hear this might be the final chapter (though I doubt it) and it's like RE4 times 2.

Hrm, seeing how I've already played/beat Bioshock, I see no reason to get this... Plus I heard there's a multiplayer mod in the works for the PC version. Most likely fan created though... Not sure why you'd want to be a fan of a dumbed down version of System Shock 2...

The PC version is all that matters for fps games.

(yes I doubt consoles power resources)
Atleast I havent seen anything really amazing on consoles.
