Does anyone know of any good Jpop artists?
I like Jpop... but I like more of the techno-ish stuff... Kinda like the band Perfume if you've ever heard of 'em.
Anyone know of any good Jpop artists/bands?
Reputation: 26Don't think anyone listens to jpop here, except for Chan maybe.
Only Jp music I listen to is like jrock pop, a little bit of techno influence, but not like Perfume which sings to techno beats more or less.
Polysics is pretty fun.
A lot of their stuff is hardly rock, but it's not near as poppy as perfume.
or Supercar
They got into a bit of electronic, but most of the songs on youtube are band instrument produced sound. (Sorry I guess I am getting electronic and techno mixed up lol)
Okay and I guess Haku_Honjo is a japanophile, apparently.
Reputation: 15Super weebo here. I got like 300+ jpop/k*korean*pop tracks on my mp3 player. Check out Halcali and yes even tho i'm sure someone hates em。Puffi Ami Yumi, they're pretty fun.
I only really know of Gackt, and in his video Vanilla he looks EXACTLY like Cloud Strife.
Reputation: 22yea Gackt is good, but his songs aren't really jpop-ish.

I have no idea, but it's still great!
Reputation: 26I'm so used to General with the Japanophile haters that I forget that the Japanophiles come out of the woodwork from other sections for topics like this.
