I am just wondering, has there been a single game that most of the OnRPG has almost fully agreed to be a good game? Or is this community so separated and diverse that we have not a single agreed choice?
Let the conversation begin =).

Reputation: 119lol an admin starting a flame war, thats new..
Big difference between a flame war and asking a question of agreement. There can be no flame if a large portion disagree's with one persons idea of a good game, that means it is not mutually agreed on.
Reputation: 119You obviously haven't seen a lot of flame wars around here.
Reputation: 10I'd have to say that probably... Ragnarok Online is the only game that the majority of the community can agree on. Seriously, there's no one that really hates the game, as far as I can tell. Dislike, maybe, but hate?
I'm not going to mention the other games, as I've become a cynic when it comes to MMOs, and will likely be flamed via PM... so.
Regardless... It's a rarity when more than 50% of the community agrees on a game..
Oh, and throwing this one out there... Didn't people like use 'ta love ROSE Online? Or did everyone sorta start hating it? (I remember there used to be a ton of fans hanging around and now... I've seen like... few fans.)
Reputation: 36I'm with the general concensis on this one. Ragnarok Online seems to be a well loved game here. I could be wrong though.
Speaking of which, Lothia, would it matter if the game is free or not?
Reputation: 167I have found that most of the mature members who are looking for premium service (P2P) agrees that LoTR and DDO are great MMORPGs, and that DAoC is a great PvP experience.
I would add Warhammer: Age of Reckoning on that list, but not many have got the chance to test the recent CB builds.
Reputation: 10I think everyone Once Loved Ragnarok when it was still in Beta. Or even by trying it on a P-server (i dont say plyaing on p-server is okay, just that they surrely enjoyed the game :P), Otherwise i think everyone agree's that GuildWar is a great game for PvP. And,...i think WoW is still the more enjoyable one for most people =/
for those of you off topic, shut up and get on topic.
lest ye feel the wrath of the wolf.
RO was a good game, age treats it well.
Cash shop ruined cabal in my opinion.
never played rohan.
Agreed.. but without the cash shop the game would be p2p, and that would ruin it even more =P
Rohan is nice.. havent heard a single person saying bad things about it in cb and after cb...
Will Rohan be cash-shop dependent as well?
Reputation: 10*off topic: lets just get along everyone. Cob don't mess with the admins even if you think you are right, you'll end up getting yourself banned. Admins just be leneant on em, hopefully he will wise up*

Yeah I think spacecowboy was awesome when it still aired. I think its air rivals now? I dunno.
Also I played silkroad. The game play is fantastic, but they grind is scary
---------------------------------------------------------------
Never liked trickster, never liked ragnorak. Neosteam is boring, totally like the game hero. Pretty much anything where you must use pots and able to solo monsters 10 levels higher than you is stupid.
Gunbound: its okay, got a virus from that game though
Gonzu: boring, need apprentice stuff to help you
Lunia: Same as the gonzu, boring
Pirate King: Super boring
Monster and Me / Fairyland: Empty, boring
Eudomons: Terrible
Sherwood: Worst game ever
Puzzle Pirates: WTF is this game about?
Fly For Fun: too boring at early stage lvls, massive grind
Mobinogi: Boring , can't understand korean (i think its korean)
Maplestory? Don't understand how people can like such a repetitive game
MUDS and Browser based games: Never seen a good one, Runescape was a good try, but it only benefits members.
All ob,cb, p2p games can go to hell in this topic. Since we can't play them. I play WoW right now, its the best MMO to date hands down.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
There is no good community in any game. Best thing to do is get in a guild and try get vent and talk with people.
although i only play wow now i gotta agree with most people that RO would be the game that at least 50 percent or more agree on being "good".
Reputation: 119I don't care if I'm banned...I have an attitude right now I can't rid of right now and I'm not sure why its been like this for about a week now -.- ugh I feel like shooting myself...anyways..
Completely forgot about maplestory thats another one I hear people always going back to when their bored.
I think majority has agreed that Ragnarok Online is a really solid MMORPG (at its peak) and the more senior MMORPG players agree that DaOC is PURE AWESOME. Hmm and onrpg has been pretty positive on UO and AO as well I think.
and that is why you're getting an infraction for continually trolling/spamming this thread.![]()
Just to edit the conversation =). Let us discuss games like most of you seem to have been. Games that the majority enjoyed that does not include dislike because of cash shops, p2p vs f2p, or lag/IP blocking.
Please all stay back on topic.
Also Dan you said 2 games that made me think were correct. MapleStory but more importantly Monster and Me that game seemed to have a high following with not much flame, but perhaps it was just the fact that most people then didn't flame as much.
Reputation: 21i think a lot of people liked SoTNW. when it was in CB, alot of people wanted to play it.
dont know about now though![]()
Reputation: 72wtf how is this a flame war? hes asking a simple question..."has onrpg ever agreed on one game?" dont be so single minded.
And to answer the question i think people agreed on phantasy star online (not universe) when that pserver was being discussed about.
But the question is a bit vague....do u mean a game that has come out and people have not said any bad things about it or what
