D(Fail) - Aww

F - Major bummer
Everything else
A - Good

I've never gotten below a C for anything besides Chinese though.![]()

Reputation: 10A = Good
B = Try harder or else
C = Hit and banned from comp
D = Dead
F = Fatality
ya.. I'm asian.
Kinda obvious though... since I'm "tofu" kid.![]()
Reputation: 482Mine never really mattered, my parents were more concerned about my brothers than mine so I dunno.
Reputation: 22A - Ok good now keep it up dun be complacent
B - Why isn't it an A?!?!
C - You suck.
D - You fail.
E - GTFO out of my house when you're 18
F - (not sure nv got this b4)

They mean death.
That's why I never show them.

Reputation: 1151A = Non existent
B = Woah, you must have cheated
C = You're passing better than usual
D = At least your passing. Keep it up.
F = ***** you'd better graduate.
They used to harass me a lot about my grades...but I just don't care. Its not like I'm going to some prestigious school, I'm going to community college for ****ssakes. I don't even NEED a diploma to get in there. I'm just trying to bullshit my way out of high school. College - thats a different story. I'm paying to take THOSE classes, so I've gotta pass that shit.
....no life?? lol jp
and to OP i thought grades only went like A, B, C, D, F ive never seen an E grade
well anyways for my parents it's different so i'll make 2 of em
mom
A-Great Job
B-Good Job
C-Alright job but you can do better
D-i know you can do better than that
F-NO VIDEO GAMES!
dad
A-Horrible
B-Horrible
C-Horrible
D-Horrible
F-wtf is wrong with you
this is of course based on my high school years because since im paying for my own college they dont care what grades i get lol
Reputation: 43I'm in the same class as my 2 year older brother (I'm 16 and he's 18), and my parents are always fine with my grades at least if I get a higher grade then my brother, which I usually do *awesome pose*.
Well I usually get good grades..
Not high because I don't study...
But if I get like 5 or 6 [grades are 0-10] my dad tells me that I can do better..
Because I'm intelligent and blahblahblah...
What I really wanted was some reward for good grades :/
All they say is a Congratulations ¬'
Reputation: 119I used to get A's and B's but when I got a C in one class and my step mom (may her soul burn in hell for all eternity) yelled at me for getting something lower than an A or B, I stopped trying. Ever since then I just got worst and worst grades and a while ago my dad pulled me out of school because I'm moving and I'm going to have to get my GED in about a year when I can finally get it.
Reputation: 22My parents didn't care for my grades.As long as I was passing.Besides I was an honor student up to middle school.
But really,I can't believe some of my friends used to get ass whoopings for a C.
Reputation: 46My Mom only prayed that I graduated school which I always did barely.

Reputation: 94A - Great! keep it up, followed by some money or a specail meal out.
B - still good, you could do better.
C - Try harder next time.
D - I told you not to slack off.
E - Get your act together!
F - You and i are having a serious talk about this...
lol, but seriously, when it's something I care about, I'm capable of doing very very well, if not, then alot of the time it just doesn't get done, sadly. Sometime last year stress got to me, and I decided I wanted to drop out and do what I really wanted to do (pursue a career as a writer). So i finished this year with unbelievably horrible grades, and I'm not going back next year.
My parents care, but there's not a great deal they can do anymore (I'm 21), and they support me in my decisions.
Being asian:
A = not good enough
A- = What med school is going to accept you with that grade
B+ = /slitwrits
Yeah it's a pain having asian parents. Especially since my sister gets good grades. Considering that I put 1/10th of the effort she puts in and get only slightly lower grades it's not that bad.
good for you man.
further education isnt for everyone and parents risk doing more harm than good if they push their children in a direction the child doesnt want to go just because the newspapers and tv tell you that all your kids should go to uni and become lawyers or doctors.
Reputation: 60my parents are asian not all asian parent aare strict like that
P - mouth dropping
F - at least go to school
im missing the whole half of the semester since i moved and the bill isnt here yet.. do i have to repeat the whole thing or jus half of it next year? im a freshmen btw.
A = Average? Kid, are they f*cking serious? The average grades in America are Bs. C is average, and D is below average. Wtf is with them!
My mom and dad care to an extent. It means something to them, and they give me lectures from time to time, but its nothing compared to yours..![]()
Reputation: 151Dropped out at the age of 17, parents supported me going to a facility known as Job Corps where I spent about 2 years, learning construction, and I got a little taste of college when I went there. I got my honors GED, a certificate in commercial painting, about 21 certificates relating to construction, and I learned so much when I stayed at Job Corps. Everything over there is free, which is awesome, they pay for your college if you don't qualify for financial aid. I think dropping out of highschool is probably one decision I don't regret.
