You will need to know alotta terms. You should get to know some RGSS. Knowing how to script a little would help alot.
If you want to make your game comerical, you'll need your own sprites and tilesets. Using the default ones isn't legal. I can help you with terms and how to make quests and stuff.
And to customize it, I have a great site with many scripts. Unfortunately, the site is down right now. Odd.
