Default My Stickers! :D (Graffiti Art.)

Normally I don't like to toot my own horn, and post pictures of stuff I've done. I'm not a proud person at all...but, I really liked these...hope you guys do too! Feel free to give me some constructive criticism.

(for those of you unfamiliar with stickering, etc, let me give you some info. I know you can still see the "USPS" shit on the sticker. I know. I use them because they are free, and because they are THE most sticky stickers you can find. MANY other artists use them, and covering them up really isn't the point.)

To those who know a bit about graffiti: I use Krylon, except my black. The black is some kind of shitty Walmart brand...and now that I've used some Krylon, this Walmart shit is a JOKE. BLAH. I only did the fades with yellow and orange, because they are the only colors I have that don't give a "Happy Easter" feel when blended. I'm working on getting more...I'm still a toy, I know.

    To the cool stuff!

The Beatles. Anyone who knows me, knows I like the Beatles. A classic, awesome band. (note my avatar ) I didn't get to write my tag on these just yet, they are fresh off the paint table. I might not throw up these colors like that, but I wanted to show you a variety.

A Rhino. I liked the stencil, and I thought it was a cool enough animal. So quick, so clean. This is the last one of these I have...the others are stuck somewhere.

Snoop Dogg. Now, I don't like most rap they play on the radio...but Snoop Dogg is an old school OG man. I've gotta have respect for him. Heres whats left of those ones...

Jim Morrison. I love the Doors, I did a project on good Ol' Jim here, and his life was really cool So, heres the Lizard King himself.

    K. There they are If you know who the people featured in the stencil are, could you tell who they were? I think I did a cool job on these.

    THANKS.

    Hm, They are good..

I don't care for this kind of graffiti..

Being an artist *not in graffiti* myself.. I enjoy looking at the art on the walls rather walking past a bus stop or train station and seeing a sticker what has a spray painted google image on it..

I like the way you style it.. that's all i can say.

Don't take it cold heartedly .... I am just being honest.

Well, actually, I make most of my stencils by hand. Most of the time, when you google "stencil" on the image search, they give you stupid shit with tons of islands. Its easier to do it yourself. I mean, sure, I googled the original image, but a lot more work goes into those stencils than you think.

I whole heartedly agree. I'm working on can control techniques, etc, and these are just quick slap tags. Maybe some day I'll be able to free hand really well.

If you do yours by hand, Do you mean draw then cut? or do you actually find an image and print it out..

If you drew them then I think they are great.

Draw is in freehand drawing? No.

    Heres a little guide:

    http://www.melissaclifton.com/tutorial-stencila.html

I don't use that exact method, but something a long the lines of that.

So, I KINDA find an image and print it. Sorta. It involves a bunch of extra editing steps, etc.

There good but I think you need work on your tag. Too much space.

I was thinking the same. I've started trimming them now. I don't want to make the tag much bigger, because I want the main focus to be on the picture on the stencil, rather than who made it. If people see it, THEN see my name, I've achieved my goal.
